Floyd County Sheriff John Hunt and his staff are continuing the Christmas tradition of Facebook Angels, which began in 2009 by Prestonsburg native Brent Graden. Facebook Angels support the Prestonsburg Healthcare Center and the River View Healthcare Center by providing donations of everyday items the residents need. Donated items needed include: socks, handkerchiefs, men’s hair combs, hair brushes, spray-on deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, body spray and lotions, and soft candies. Donations can be dropped off at the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Monday through Friday until December 14. The donated gifts will be delivered on December 19 to Prestonsburg Healthcare and December 21 at Riverview.
