On Thursday, Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Vealor Brown on a parole violation, at the Treadway Apartments in Barbourville. Brown allegedly made threats against police officers days prior and refused to comply with deputies’ commands when they made contact at the apartments. After a taser deployment, 47-year-old Vealor Brown was arrested. He was found in possession of a 9mm handgun and charged with resisting arrest and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
