On Wednesday, December 21, at approximately 10am, Knox County Deputy Keith Liford responded to a report of a single vehicle injury traffic crash on KY 233 in Gray. The occupants were discovered to have left the scene and were found at a near-by residence. The passenger, Joshua Angel, appeared to be injured and EMS personnel found drug paraphernalia on him. Deputy Liford discovered Neurotin, Diazepam, cocaine, heroin, a glass pipe, syringes, a digital scales, and over $1550 in cash. Angel, 41, was charged with public intoxication , possession and trafficking of controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver, 19-year-old Tina Polley, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, no registration plates or receipt, and failure to produce insurance card.
