On Friday, December 20, Hazard Police Executed a search warrant at the residence of Ira Michael Napier in the Lick Branch community of Combs after a several month undercover investigation. Seized during the search was a large amount of cash, cocaine, prescription drugs, marijuana, paraphernalia including scales and syringes, and two firearms. Napier, 49, and Heather Rochelle Childers, 25, were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in a legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
