A Johnson County man was beaten and robbed in his home Friday night, January 13. Wallace Conley, 80, was taken to the hospital Friday after Arthur Webb and his mother, Ronnie, broke into his home and beat him. Conley said he tried to fight back. The two cut his phone lines and reportedly stole his wallet, some change, and his keys during the altercation. Conley went to his neighbor’s home to call for help. The Webbs were arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with first degree robbery, assault, and burglary.
