Grimes Appointed to Executive Board of the National Association of Secretaries of State

Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes has been appointed to the executive board of the National Association of Secretaries of State for the second time. She will continue serving as the Southern Region vice president. The post represents the organization’s 14 Southern states and the District of Columbia. Grimes said she enjoys the relationship with her secretary of state colleagues in the south and is honored to represent the South states on the NASS executive board. The National Association of Secretaries of State was founded in 1904 and is the oldest nonpartisan professional organization of public officials in the U.S.
