Plows began working on US 119 in Pike County yesterday evening, the first area with enough accumulation to plow. Crews from all 10 maintenance garages in District 12’s seven counties were called out at 1pm to monitor, patrol, and spot treat. Crews are continuing plowing this morning in Lawrence, Johnson, Martin, Knott and parts of Pike and Floyd. Some sections of Pike and Floyd and most of Letcher have wet pavement. Drivers are asked to used caution and be respectful of plows that are out working.
