Two Floyd County students will be heading to the State Governor’s Cup Competition. Paige Lemaster from Prestonsburg High School placed 3^rd in Composition at the regional Governor’s Cup competition, with Natalie Lester from Allen Central High School placing 5^th in Arts & Humanities. The Prestonsburg High School Future Problem Solving team also placed 3^rd. The Regional Governor’s Cup Competition consists of students and teams from schools in Floyd, Pike, and Johnson counties. The State Governor’s Cup Competitions for high schools will be at Louisville’s Galt House, March 11^th to 13^th.
