The Big Sandy Idol Regional Competition will take place March 10-11 at the Mountain Arts Center. Twenty-eight students from high schools in Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin, and Pike Counties will compete for a full scholarship, a spot in the Big Sandy Singers and Band, an album recording and other prizes. Clayton Case, director of fine arts at BSCTC and executive director of the Mountain Arts Center, said this is going to be a remarkable show. Showtime is 7pm each night and tickets are $12.
