On Wednesday, March 29, shortly after midnight, Laurel County Deputies responded to a suspicious persons complaint off Mcgill Pine Grove Road. The subject, 58-year-old Ricky Morgan, was located off the road in a wooded area, where he was determined to be under the influence. During the investigation, a .38 caliber pistol was located, which allegedly belonged to his mother. Morgan was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
