Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Martin City Police, made a drug bust on April 5, after responding to a complaint of a male subject possibly passed out in his vehicle in the parking lot of Speedway. During their investigation, they discovered approximately 12 grams of crystal meth, weigh scales, and other drug paraphernalia. Herbert Allen, 42, of Irvine, was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Floyd County Jail.
