On Monday, April 3, Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith and deputies arrested 46-year-old Charles Smith at his residence on Salt Lick Road in Corbin after he was found hiding in a secret room behind a large piece of furniture used to cover-up the entrance. Deputies had searched for Smith at his residence on several occasions but couldn’t locate him. He was wanted on an indictment warrant for several charges of drug possession. Smith was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
