A Johnson County man endured assault and robbery in his home on Sunday morning. William Williams, 55, had been asleep when someone broke into his home early Sunday morning. He told police two men kicked in his door and put a light into his eye, then striking him with a crowbar. He said the two said they were police officers. Sheriff’s Deputies said the two men were in Williams’ home for about 20 minutes. His wallet was stolen among other items. Deputy Sheriff Terry Tussey said Williams was covered in blood when he arrived on the scene.
