London Man Arrested for Drug Possession Following Traffic Stop

On Tuesday, May 2, London Police Sgt. Daniel Robinson conducted a traffic stop at 4pm on a gold Chevrolet pick-up truck for failing to use a turn signal on the Hal Rogers Parkway. During the stop, methamphetamine, pills, a digital scale, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun were discovered. David M. Jones, 43, of Line Creek Road in Lily, gave consent to officers to search his vehicle. During the search, a silver box containing the drugs was found hidden into a speaker cabinet. Jones was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
