The Floyd County Public Library in Prestonsburg will be hosting a Family Photo Digital Preservation event on Saturday, May 13, beginning at 11am. Attendees can bring in their old family photographs to the library to be scanned and receive a digital copy. Representatives from the Family History Center in Martin will also be available to assist with your genealogy needs. The event is free and no registration is required. Those interested in attending should bring their own USB flash drives.
