Hazard Woman Arrested for Shoplifting in Laurel County

A Hazard woman was arrested in Laurel County Friday afternoon. Around 2pm, May 12, Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a Walmart near Corbin after Lynn Grubbs, 36, was detained by the loss prevention team. Grubbs allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $10 in merchandise. Grubbs was also wanted on outstanding warrants, one in Knox County for failure to appear in court on charges of operating a vehicle with suspended or revoked license, and a bench warrant in Whitley County on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
