With schools dismissing for the summer, law enforcement officers in Rowan County met on Wednesday, May 10 to conduct compliance checks of registered sex offenders in the area. Officers located and found 24 of the 25 registered offenders to be in compliance. Criminal charges will follow on the non compliant offender. The list of registered sexual offenders is public record, and a link to the registry can be found at kentuckystatepolice.org.
