A Laurel County couple is facing charges after a toddler was found alone in a parking lot.

Local law enforcement has taken 48 year old, Egbert Hensley, and 43 year old, Mitzi Hensley, after neighbors reported that a 1 year old child was alone outside of their apartment on Pine Grove Road.

The child was supposed to be under the care of social services, so the couple is being charged with custodial interference. The child is now safe with social services.
