On Friday, October 20, Big Sandy Community and Technical College welcomed its new president, Dr. Sherry Zylka. A reception was held in the Johnson Building of the Prestonsburg campus. Dr. Zylka said her first 15 days in the position has been an amazing transition, and discussed how important a role community colleges play in day to day life.
