On Saturday, November 11, 2017, around 3:26am, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a complaint of a female subject apparently assaulting her mother. When deputies arrived at the scene, the subject was standing outside the residence hitting her mother through a window that she had busted out with her hand. Amber Morgan, 36, was arrested following a short scuffle with deputies and charged with assault, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
