Nearly 700 Kentuckians to Receive Portion of Sleep Disorder Drug Settlement

Attorney General Andy Beshear announced on Tuesday, February 6,2018 that nearly 700 Kentuckians will receive a portion of the nearly $500,000 settlement his office secured with Cephalon, a subsidiary of Teva Pharmaceuticals. The settlement resolves a multistate investigation against the company, alleging anticompetitive actions delayed generic versions of the sleep disorder drug Provigil to protect profits. Kentuckians eligible to file claims were those who paid for the brand-name drug provigil or its generic Modafinil from June 24, 2006 to March 31, 2012.
