A 31-year-old London man was arrested on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 as part of an ongoing anti-human trafficking operation. Rahul Patel was arrested at a hotel in London for allegedly agreeing to exchange cash for sex with a minor. He was charged with promoting human trafficking with a minor and unlawful use of electronic means or received within the Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities. The arrest was part of an anti-human trafficking operation in the London area by the Attorney General’s office with the assistance of the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department, London Police Department, and Louisville Metro Police Department Special Victims Unit.
