On Monday, June 11, 2018, Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a complaint they received on their anonymous tip line. The caller reported that drugs were allegedly being sold out of a light green Hyundai in the Water Gap area. Around 5:30pm, Sgt. Oliver Little spotted a vehicle matching the description while patrolling Dodson branch in Water Gap. A traffic stop was conducted and sheriff’s K-9 unit was called in to assist. Deputies were alerted by K-9 Litta to a location inside the vehicle and discovered six grams of crystal meth, a set of digital scales and over 100 plastic baggies. Deputies arrested 28-year-old Keisha Robinson of Prestonsburg and charged her with trafficking in controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence. She was lodged in the Floyd County Jail.
