As part of National Infrastructure Day, a press conference was held outside the Martin County Water Treatment Plant. In attendance were Martin County Magistrate candidate BarbiAnn Maynard and former 5th District Congressional Candidate Scott Sykes discussing the current issues plaguing the area. The national day of action was organized by the Progressive Change Campaign committee with over 70 candidates in 23 states participating.
