A Prestonsburg High School student has been selected for a Co-Op position. Cheyanna Hatfield, a junior at Prestonsburg High School, was selected as an Office Support Associate this summer. The Office Support Associate is similar to an officer manager position and Hatfield will learn what it is like to work in a government office. The Cabinet for Health and Family Resources-Department of Community Based Services has partnered with the Kentucky Department of Education to provide paid Co-Op experiences in their offices across the state. Floyd County is one of ten counties in this pilot program.
