Traffic Stop in Martin Leads to DUI, Drug, and Counterfeit Money Arrest

A traffic stop was conducted at the Martin BP station on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. During the stop, Martin City Police Office Brad Stidham discovered the driver of the vehicle, identified as 22-year-old Cody Caroll, was in possession of gabapentin, xanax, a pipe used for smoking methamphetamine that appeared to be recently used, and $6100 in counterfeit money. Caroll was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
