Mayors and representatives from Prestonsburg, Pikeville, Paintsville, and Morehead came together in Floyd County yesterday and discussed a drag race championship. Drag racing clubs from the four cities will organize the competition, which has been dubbed the East Kentucky Hillbilly Drag Race, in 2016. A date has not been selected for the event, but they trying to steer around the fall festival season.
