The Chalk it Up downtown art event will be held in Prestonsburg on Saturday, December 8, 2018. The event, sponsored by the Prestonsburg Merchants Network, is free to children and adults and is from 11am to 3pm. Participants can register at Lou’s Place for Pets or City Perk. Register the day of and chalk will be provided by local downtown businesses. You will be assigned a sidewalk to turn into a masterpiece. The theme is snowman. Winner of each category will be announced at the tree lighting ceremony after the parade and prizes will be from local businesses.
