The fall wildfire season starts today, and will continue until December 15th. According to Kentucky forestry officials they are going to start utilizing bloodhounds to enforce the law. The dogs have been made available through a partnership with the Bell County Forestry Camp, and are trained to locate fire sources. Officials remind the public that outdoor burning is banned from 6 am through 6 pm within 150 feet of any wooded area or brush. Anyone wishing to report cases of arson can call the Target Arson Hotline at 800-27-ARSON.
