According to the polls Democrat Jack Conway still maintains a narrow lead over Republican Matt Bevin, while Independent Drew Curtis’ numbers have remained static. The poll showed that 42 percent of voters stood behind Conway, while 37 said they would vote for Bevin, and 7 percent said they would support Curtis. With only 5 weeks to go before the election Bevin was dealt a serious blow when the Republican Governors Association decided to pull their television ads. The candidates will meet in debate on the 25^th at Eastern Kentucky University.
