Cyclist Killed in Clay County Crash

On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, around 7:11pm, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of a vehicle that had struck a cyclist on US HWY 421 in the Burning Springs community of Clay County. Upon arrival, Trooper Logan Gay determined 53-year-old Randall Eversole, of Annville, was riding his bicycle on 421 in the northbound direction when he was struck by a 1995 Dodge Ram operated by 40-year-old Crystal Lunsford, of Mckee. Eversole was transported to the Manchester Advent Health Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by the Clay County Coroner’s Office. Lunsford was cited while at the scene for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license. Trooper Gay is continuing the investigation.
