On Thursday, February 7, 2019, around 7pm, Martin City Police Chief Kenny Stidham was dispatched to the Martin McDonald’s in reference to a person possibly passed out in a vehicle. Chief Stidham made contact with the male subject, identified as 31-year-old Nathan Collins of Garrett. Through investigation, Chief Stidham located a small baggie of suspected crystal meth. Additionally, Collins had an active warrant of arrest for charges related to a DUI. Collins was arrested and lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
