On Saturday, March 23, 2019, Kentucky State Police Post 8 in Morehead responded to the scene of a fatal house fire at 3636 Upper Sand Lick Road in West Liberty along with Morgan County Fire Departments and the Morgan County Coroner’s Office. Located inside the residence, was 44-year-old Timothy Gambill and a 9-year-old juvenile, who were both pronounced deceased on scene. No foul play is suspected at this time. The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 8.
