Family and friends poured out to see East Kentucky’s newest star in his first competition. Harlan County Native Jordan Smith became the darling of national media when his audition brought all four judges and the crowd at the Voice to a standing ovation. Last night members of his community gathered in the basement of his church to watch Jordan’s first battle round. Jordan is being coached by Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, who declared him the winner. He will move on to the next competition, and his opponent Regina Love was picked up by Gwen Stefani after the match.
