Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development Secretary Terry Gill has resigned from his position, effective at the end of May 2019. Governor Matt Bevin said Gill brought the perspective of a business executive to the state’s economic development efforts and is grateful for his service to the Commonwealth. Secretary Gill said it has been an honor to serve Kentucky but has decided it is time to return to the private sector. Gill has served as Economic Development Secretary since January 2017. Governor Bevin will recommend that the Kentucky Economic Development Partnership appoint CED Executive Officer Vivek Sarin interim secretary effective upon the completion of Gill’s service.
