Kentucky Man Extradited from Philippines on Sex Charges

A Kentucky man has been extradited from the Philippines. Kentucky State Police began the investigation of 39-year-old Richard Baker in March 2017, after receiving information that he had sexually abused a child under the age of 12 while he lived in Trigg County. Baker was located and detained in the Philippines in February 2019 following a joint investigation between the United States Marshall Service and Interpol. He was flown to the United States and delivered to the Georgia Department of Corrections before being extradited back to Kentucky on April 30, 2019. Baker currently faces a charge of sodomy and promoting a minor in a sex performance.
