The Johnson County Special Olympics Program received a donation on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Brenda Dyer, Special Olympics coordinator, announced that they had received a donation of $5,000 from the Outlaw State of Kind Fund. The fund was started by Johnson County native and country music artists Chris and Morgane Stapleton in 2016 to support a variety of causes. The Outlaw State of Kind Fund is administered by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
