
A recent drug raid lands four people behind bars.
Tuesday morning near Township Road 1107 A search warrant at the home led police to discover methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, two firearms and a drug ledger.
All suspects face first-degree felony drug offenses, with additional charges to be presented to a grand jury in July, according to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office.
In custody is;
Jasmine G. Mendoza, 23, Richard E. Ellis, 48, Stephanie A. Harrison, 52 and Helen M. Bellville, 72.
Three kids under the age of 5 were located inside the home and are now in the hands of Lawrence County Children Services.
According to the prosecutor’s office, a drug Task Force received tips from the public that crystal methamphetamine and other drugs were being sold at the home.
The suspects should expect to face three to 15 years in prison on the current charge and they are scheduled to be arraigned Friday, June 21 in Lawrence County Municipal Court.
