Thursday, a law will go into effect allowing anyone who can legally possess a gun in Kentucky to carry concealed without a permit.
Senate Bill 150, was signed into law on March 11 and tomorrow June 27 it will take effect,
This will eliminate the six-hour gun-safety training course, background check and $60 application fee that Kentucky previously required.
Kentucky is now joining the 14 other states that have passed similar laws eliminating the need for a permit to carry concealed.
