In October the Kentucky State Police responded to a call, saying that 53 year old Stephen Brock had a gun and had threatened to kill anyone who stepped on his property. After he did not respond to police commands, he was shot and killed by trooper Luke Pridemore. Now Brock’s daughter, Hayley Everage, says that his death was not justified. According to Everage her father had mental health issues, and a gun was never found on the scene. Trooper Pridemore has been involved in one other shooting. The KSP declined WYMT’s request for an interview on the subject.
