Some Motorist will get their first opportunity to drive on the parkway expansion. Driver traveling the mountain parkway today will have to deal with a traffic switch. According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet all vehicles will be routed onto what will be the East Bound lane of the Mountain Parkway. This switch is expected to last throughout the day, and will be accompanied by intermittent stops.
