A local college is offering a program to help individuals find a better paying job. Many of the best paying jobs now require you to have some type of degree, and that list is getting longer. Big Sandy Community and Technical College is offering the Accelerated Opportunity Kentucky programs, which allows students to earn a technical credential while they earn their GED. In a statement to the media officials at the college say that students could complete the program in one or two semesters. Potential students can attend orientation over this program on December 8^th and 17^th, and on January 17^th.
