Jordan Smith has wowed audiences on the NBC game show ‘The Voice’. Smith has never hidden his roots, and has even stated his pride in his hometown on multiple occasions. For that his home county named him Harlan Countian of the Year. In a statement to wymt Judge Executive Dan Mosley said smith had been a great ambassador for Harlan County and the State of Kentucky. The award entitles Smith to be the Grand Marshall of the Christmas Parade, but unfortunately Smith will be in California. Officials plan to hold another parade in his honor when he returns.
