Justice Samuel T. Wright has assumed his duties as a Justice of the Supreme Court. Wright won the office last month in a hard fought campaign against Floyd County native Janet Stumbo. Wright is the father of the Letcher Drug court, a program that the County Fiscal Court has officially labeled as “amazingly successful”. Wright took the official Oath of Office in Letcher County on November 23rd.
