The Kentucky State Police responded to the home of Leslie Cooley, on Old County road in the Harold Community at 7 pm on Saturday night. Cooley had contacted officials after her boyfriend Stan Lee, shot her ex-boyfriend Eric Edmonds. In a news release Trooper Steven Mounts said Edmonds is alleged to have driven to the residence to confront the couple, and cause them harm. Edmonds was transported to Pikeville Medical Center. Officials are not filing charges at this time, but the case will be presented to a grand jury.
