The Mountain Muse and Lou’s Place for Pets are working to make sure the community is warm as the winter weather makes its way through Eastern Kentucky.

The Mountain Muse and Lou’s place for pets take a coat, leave a coat system was created to help people in need make it through the cold temperatures.

The mission has provided more than 1,000 coats to people in the community.
