Mark Vance has made a major impact in the local art community with his chainsaw sculptures in Archer Park. Dana Spitzer is also a chainsaw artist, who joined Vance in making the cold creations. The two men only used shovels, a spoon and a machete to create an icy image of horses in the Mountain Art Center parking lot. In a statement to WYMT Vance said that he creates snow sculptures often, and his works include the statue of Liberty, the Venus De Milo and several castles.
