A special election is announced for two state House seats early next year.

According to outgoing Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, the special election will be held to fill the seats of Representatives Rocky Adkins and Dennis Keene.

Both men have resigned from their seats to take positions in Governor Andy Beshear’s administration.

The elections have been set for February 25th.
