Donald “Ducky” Newsome, age 67 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 4, 1952 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Loretta Shepherd Newsome of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and the late Johnny Newsome.

Services will be Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1 pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 1, 2019 at 6pm at the funeral home and all day Thursday. Burial will be at Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, Kentucky.
