Okie Dean Short, age 64, of Hindman, KY, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Hazard Appalachian Reg. Med. Ct. in Hazard, KY. He was born at Lackey, KY on January 12, 1955 to Wesoka Short and Sarah Slone Short.

Funeral services for Okie Dean Short will be held at Hindman Funeral Services Chapel, Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 11:00AM with Ronnie Combs and Bordes Slone officiating. Entombment will follow at Bethel Memorial Mausoleum, Hindman , KY. Visitation will be held at the Chapel, Tuesday evening after 6PM with additional services at 7PM.
